your art is extremely beautiful, i love it. my style is very similar but i noticed you use oils, is that any more difficult/easy/time consuming than acrylic? i want to start using oils but i heard is so different than acrylic. any tips?
I haven’t used acrylics much, they kind of make me feel weird. probably because i don’t know how to use them properly. haha. As for oils, they’re my absolute favorite. They do take a lot longer to dry, but i like that about them. a tip i’d give you is just to experiment like craaazzzzy that’s all I do
You're such an inspiration. I'm sure you hear that all the time but I thought I'd share my personal feelings on the matter. lol. Your work is brilliant, you're gorgeous, and your taste is perfection. /end praise. P.S. We should be friends (how 1st grade of me, right?). Pen pals perhaps?
I stumbled across your work and I'm really inspired by what you've shown on here. I was wondering if it was difficult to market your work and make connections? I'm a recent college grad with a BFA in painting and I'm having a bit of a hard time getting my feet on the ground.
no it wasn’t very difficult for me, I just used the internet and social media. a lot. it’s like of the new mode of business. and it’s kinda fun.
Basically, you inspire me more than any other artist. I've always loved painting portraits with strange concepts, then I stumbled upon your work and I was blown away.
I know how difficult it is to be a successful artist these days when the industry is so saturated, but you deserve it. It's comforting to know that great art doesn't go unappreciated. I hope to get my work out there someday.
Kepp it up <3 <3
thanks dear! & every industry is over-saturated, but that doesn’t matter. keep at it!
